Arrived at your site through your follow on twitter, thanks for that. Interested to see a site dedicated to running. Although not a road runner, I spent most of my time from the age of 6 to 36 either kicking or chasing a ball in various types of sports, all of which took their toll on my joints, which is something I notice you have blogged about. You will see from my web site link that I have recently been trying to lose some weight and been using products from a particular company. I appreciate you do not need to lose weight, probably neither do many of your readers, but the same company have a product which is great for joints and gave me relief from years of pain in my knees in only 2 days. Bill, as I get older, the joints are less flexible than they use to be. There may come a time when I’ll rely on the likes of a glucosamine / chondroitin product for relief. Thanks for your comment.

No problem Mike, I’m pleased that your joints are ok at the moment. Degeneration is a progressive thing though and prevention is better than cure. I wish I’d learnt that when I was about 20 years old, would have saved me a lot of pain in recent years.
